…a hard time finding an apartment that accepts cats. Well, I found a woman who had a room in her condo for rent. She loves cats. I forgot to ask if she smokes. Well, not only does she smoke, he’s filthy. I have a male cat (Isaiah) and a female cat (Persia). The house reaks of cigarette smoke & greasy food. & the fridge? Open the refrigerator door & the kitchen begins to smell of rotten eggs. Her cat pan is IN THE KITCHEN, OF ALL PLACES, AND NEXT TO A DIRTY FILTHY MAT THAT HAS THE CAT FOOD AND WATER. Needless to say, my stay will only be temporary ( I found a much better place within 3 weeks). Isaiah has bonded with her two cats, but Persia refuses to leave my bedroom (the only clean, smoke-free room in the house). Since she refuses to leave my room, it recently occurred to me that she has been intentionally starving herself and pissing and shitting in the kennel she arrived in. I can’t imagine an animal starving, when they have access to food; the same food she has enjoyed.
You idiot…i did not know she was not going downstairs until i was told she never went down stairs. the lady has an automatic feeder, i did not know she was going in the kennel until i smelled a foul over and investigated.

Get another litter box and food/water bowl and put it in your room, where she stays. You may smell poo for a while, but that is far better than whats happening now.
When I first adopted my big baby, I realized he hadn’t used the litter box for 2 days after we got him. He refused to use the litter box because it was covered. Luckly he never went anywhere else, but I felt so bad that he had to hold it..
Just get yourself a cheap box and bowl and set it up in your room for her… She will thank you.
